Raw material preparation: Prepare corresponding raw materials according to the required glass composition, such as quartz sand, boric acid, potassium carbonate, anhydrous sodium carbonate, titanium dioxide, lead tetroxide, etc.
Ingredient mixing: Mix the raw materials in a certain proportion to ensure even mixing.
High temperature melting: Put the mixed raw materials into a high-temperature furnace for melting, with a melting temperature generally around 1100 ℃, depending on the composition of the glass. During the melting process, continuous stirring is required to ensure the uniformity of the glass liquid.
Water quenching cooling: Pour the melted glass liquid into water for water quenching cooling, so that it quickly solidifies into broken glass like blocks.
Ball milling and grinding: Place the cooled broken glass blocks into a ball mill for ball milling and grinding to obtain glass powder. The ball milling time is generally 35-45 hours, depending on the particle size requirements of the glass powder.
Screening and grading: The ball milled glass powder is screened and graded to obtain low melting point glass powder with different particle sizes.
In the process of manufacturing low melting point glass powder, it is necessary to strictly control the process parameters of each link to ensure the quality and performance of the product. At the same time, it is also necessary to pay attention to safety issues and avoid accidents.
